 as to why
I'm not quite sure
you hurt me
and make me cry
 you laugh at me
you don't stand up for me
 you always make me hurt
in ways I cant describe
but I love you
 maybe it's the way you hold me
  and tell me that you love me
or the way you look at me
but why do those little things
affect me the way they do
 I have never felt like this before
 and I know it's going to hurt when it ends
 and part of me wants to say
"if it ends"
 but nothing lasts forever
 not even true love
 nothing lasts
I miss you though
 the way you used to be
when you loved me
and I loved you
 it's not that we don't love each other now
it's just that love has changed
I miss being friends with you
I miss having you be in love with me
and begging me just to let you hold me
and I was in love with no one
or someone else
but that wasn't real
all my other "loves"
haven't loved me back
 but you have always loved me
even when I called you to talk about my new "love"
 you loved me
and I was constantly hurting you
 I was so blind
but now I see
and I see you
and I see my love for you
             you are my angel
           and true you hurt me
 and lie to me
and make me cry
but it's worth it
because I love you
and I always will
